Beginning in WW2 Survival Knives were issued to aircraft crew, as it was a real possibility that they might be shot down behind enemy lines. Blades are forged with a serrated spine for sawing through wood or cutting material such as the thin metal skin of a crashed helicopter or airplane. The reverse edge is naturally used for survival functions like setting traps, cutting and skinning. Fits most standard minifig hands.
